Some might remember me from Marion's forum, same username there if I recall correctly, or it was just my first name there, been so long I don't remember. So I'm from the Netherlands, from a city that became (in)famous back in 2000 and not in a good way. I've met Marion couple of times (and one of her sisters as well at the merchandise stand) in Norway at her concerts. Unfortunately never got to meet her while she was in Amsterdam for an interview where Kim and Ling were, wasn't allowed in for not being a reporter , too bad Marion didn't mention that requirement on her old forum. Anyway, been working for a little over a year know at a company as test engineer, after having been unemployed for over a decade. I'm testing products in a variety of ways to see if they work or not, due to NDA's I can't tell much more. Hei! I'm Desireé and I used to (for the most parts) to hang around at Marion's forum back in my teenage days. I remember that, long time ago that was.

Hi everyone, I'm Ivo from Brazil. I'm an adman working on design and motion design. =D I had a band called Arthica (you can find it on spotify). I play piano, bodhran, tin whistle and some other instruments. I became fan of M2M since Dont say you love me video. I`m very happy to see what will be their next chapter also I love to meet new people. Feel free to send a message. Hi ivocorr, welcome to the boards! Such an interesting career and hobby you got there. I can't play any instruments to save my life haha. For awhile I had my own acoustic guitar and self-taught but that was it. Happy to have you in the community! Thanks for sharing your music too.

Hello everyone! My name is Carla, I'm from Minnesota. I've been a M2M-listener for a while, since 2000 or so, but am relatively new to the online fan-space. Happy to be here now though! I'm excited to see what happens next for Marit & Marion. I'd be really happy if they tour, because I've never seen them play live. I work as a carpenter in the commercial construction world. One of my first jobs that I was a part of was building a new apartment building, and one of the things I remember most fondly was listening to the Acoustic EP on Spotify on repeat while installing sheet metal panels and trim. Probably not what people might think of in terms of the music played on a construction site, but I enjoyed it. In my free time, I love to bike, read, hike, cross-stitch, and travel. Hello Carla! So nice to have you on the boards. Welcome, welcome! Thanks for sharing a bit about yourself. You know, funny how I was travelling by bus after work yesterday and passed by a school that is still under construction and I was seeing the people building it layer by later and wondering "When the school is complete, do we think about these hands that made it possible?" I teach for a living and I cannot teach without a proper building or furniture or other fascilities so you have my respect for what you do. Thanks for being a part of the community.

Hi! I’m Fonzy. I grew up listening to M2M songs since I was little (I was born in 2001), but I guess only really became a fan in the late 2010’s. I notice that plenty of y’all are older than me and have been a fan of M2M back in the early 2000s, and I’m still learning more about this particular fan community. I’d love it if y’all could educate me with stuff that I still don’t know about M2M and this fan community. Also, I’m glad to be here in this boards and meet y’all! I’m currently a college student studying Mechanical Engineering. My hobbies include building scale model cars and airplanes, as well as making games in Roblox. Hi Fonzy! Hehe. We were a crazy bunch. We met online before Google was even born. I mean, that's just hilarious. You have entered ancient places but trust me, we are still learning a lot about M2M too. Haha. Our arms are open and we don't care about who's been around longer than whom. M2M brought us together and even Marit wanted us to get to know and reach out to each other - the whole boards thing and the chatroom, oh man, those were the days before we could take the Internet with us in our pockets. It was a huge deal to be able to connect with each other over continents and oceans. Please, we hope you stay and we hope you enjoy your stay. It's refreshing to also have the younger generation be part of our community. Don't hesitate to post or share your questions or ask anything. There's a few good, awesome, kind people here who are more than willing to share their experiences or knowledge or stories with you. My best wishes for your studies and have fun programming - Roblox is one thing my generation cannot comprehend so do tell us more some time!

Hey bartgrefte, I wasn't very active at Marion's forums, but wow, welcome back. You're important here Thanks for your intro, I do hope a few people from Marion's boards also come by to say hi and perhaps Pandanita remembers you too. I'm super glad you're with us! Good luck with your career - and you do not need to share anything that you are not allowed to share so that will be accepted and respected Have fun with us and hope you stay!

I'm Anouk from the Netherlands, and my username on the forum back in the days was most probably also Buffy2ndSlayer, although I hung out mostly on Marit's forum. I spent a lot of time chatting on MSN Messenger (wow, so old) and blogging on Blogspot with a bunch of familiar names that are already up here in this thread. So nice to meet you again! This is truly a trip down memory lane. What about me now... I'm married, work as a Software Engineer and Designer and most importantly: I'm still making music! Learned to play guitar to M2M songs, so to think about this time, how it all started, just blows my mind now! You can look me up on Spotify if you want. My artist name is Anne Curlew. I also remember that Marit stopped by in the online chatbox on her website one day. That was such a move. I was fortunate enough to later catch her live in a small venue in Rotterdam one day, that was an amazing night that I will never forget. I can't wait to see what these two are up to!

So I'm from the Netherlands, from a city that became (in)famous back in 2000 and not in a good way. Ok, I'm breaking my brain about which city that's supposed to be, but I'm drawing blank. Can you give a little hint? I live in Dordrecht, btw (eye for an eye ) Edit: I think I know, does it have to do with fireworks?

I had a faint memory from the netherlands on the news in the year 2000 and rechecked with ChatGPT. And also: Welcome back Anouk!

Welcome back, dear Anouk! Time to give our community story a better ending too. Things are still pretty much old school around here with the technology we're taking ancient technology with us here. And we still don't have everyone on board (yet). If hearts are still open and the will is still willing XD, we may see more familiar faces turn up. Fingers crossed! Thanks for being here.

Hi everyone, I’m Josh from China, and I was born in 2002, the year when M2M disbanded.
I fell in love with their songs and became their fan in about 2014. I’m really enchanted by the album Shades Of Purple, which always reminds me of the carefree days with my friends in high school. I’ve been dreaming for many years that someday I could see them perform together, and now it seems that day is coming.
I found the new official Instagram account by chance today, and I’m so exited to discover there is a fan community about M2M. I can’t believe it that after over two decades many of you are still fond of Marit and Marion!
Super glad to meet all of you here! And thank you Ira for running this forum!
